SUCCESSFUL COOPERATION BETWEEN PALILULA MUNICIPALITY AND GRAMMAR SCHOOL 'SVETOZAR MARKOVIC "

In the framework of cooperation with educational institutions active in the territory of Palilula, President of the Municipality, Boban Džunić spoke with the headmaster of the Grammar school "Svetozar Markovic", Olga Dragojlović, about work and exceptional results of this school students in national and international competitions, new projects and support in the realization of educational work. Head master of the Grammar school introduced president Dzunic with the initiative of school students about the formation of a task brigade that will be engaged in the work on the renovation and maintenance of public spaces. This work engagement of students, according to Olga Dragojlović, began with cleaning around the school and the Municipality and then, if necessary, and in other public areas such as the Memorial Park "Bubanj".

The Municipality of Palilula very much appreciates the work and efforts of teaching staff in the education of students and the affirmation of talented pupils. We have a very good cooperation with this school management, we assist them in the realization of certain activities, monitor and promote the results of the most successful students and their professors - said Boban Džunić during this occasion. We are proud of the exceptional results of the best high school pupils who have been in the past year, the international competitions in mathematics, physics, computer science, they won numerous medals. These successful students, traditionally we have introduced on our Municipal calendar for 2015.

The results, which for a longer period have been reached by students of Grammar school, according to the president of the Municipality of Palilula, are of particular importance for our country and the city. That's why we as a Municipality, supported the school initiative that was sent to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, that Grammar school"Svetozar Markovic" in Nis should be declared a school of national importance.

Cooperation of Palilula Municipality and Grammar school "Svetozar Markovic" has been very successful during the recent period. To this particular contributes activity of theOffice for Youth of Palilula and cooperation on the projects such as "Living Green", working with volunteers, supporting socially-vulnerable population of the Municipality, "New technology and volunteerism, "Science Festival" `Science is not a bogeyman`. "
Thanks to the cooperation of students and professors of the Nis grammar school with colleagues in France, Palilula Municipality and the Municipality Dulene signed a protocol of cooperation.
